Proposed Changes to Family Reunification: Canada

The new program will launch on Jan 01, 2014
Some new proposals
1. Sponsor have to meet 30% additional income levels in addition to present LICO
2. Sponsorship period will be increased
3. Income proof for over three years to be submitted with application
4. Social assistance money recovery from sponsors can be extended to 20 years

Canada will launch a brand new program on April 1 to recruit innovative immigrant entrepreneurs
