Eligibility:

Be between the ages of 21 and 45

Have settlement funds as required by Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program https://immigratemanitoba.com/immigrate/policies/settlement-funds/

Have completed a post-secondary education or training program of at least one-year duration, for which you received a diploma, certificate, or degree

Recent (2 years) MPNP approved language test with a minimum CLB score of:

TEER 0-1 occupations = minimum 7 in each band​
-
TEER 2-3 occupations = minimum 5 in each band
-
TEER 4-5 occupations = minimum 4 in each band

Have no other connection to other parts of Canada (i.e. through friends, relatives or previous employment or education)

Have worked at least two years full-time in the past five years, and can demonstrate the ability to find a job in Manitoba in that occupation (including plans to achieve certification in the case of regulated occupations)​
Applications will not be considered if they do not meet minimum qualifications.

NOC 72106 Welders CLB 5 in each band required

NOC 31301 Registered Nurses IELTS W6.5, Sp7, L7, R 6.5 required

NOC 31102 Physicians IELTS 7 in each band, currently fully licensed in USA, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand.

Note that those with close family connections in Morden may have different occupational choices.

Exploratory visits:
Morden Community Driven Immigration Initiative Selection Committee may require certain candidates to conduct an in-person exploratory visit of at least 5 days in Morden. Exploratory visits may be required due to:

Absence of a job offer or
-
Absence of a family or family-like connection to Morden and/or Manitoba
-
Stronger connection to other provinces in Canada demonstrated by past visits, employment, studies and/or residing family members
-
Limited knowledge of Morden's socio-economic factors

Please be informed that final authority to issue a Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) certificate of Nomination rests with the Government of Manitoba, while granting permanent residency is administered by Government of Canada

It is your responsibility to ensure you meet all minimum criteria throughout the application process. This means that if you had a friend or family connection to Morden who have moved elsewhere, your application will be reassessed by Morden's Selection Committee to reevaluate Morden's continued support of your application.
