Santa is fit to fly and ready for take-off

Transcript: “Santa is fit to fly and ready for take-off”

Christmas music starts.

Text on screen reads: “Exam in progress”. Santa is in an exam room writing a pilot exam. Then, Santa is undergoing a vision test, reading letters from an eye chart on the wall (the chart is made up of only two letters: H and O). The next scene shows a series of urine samples. Santa places his own sample (layered green and red) with the others.

The Honourable Minister Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport is sitting behind his desk and Santa is sitting across from him (back of Santa’s head is visible). Minister Garneau speaks to Santa.

Minister Garneau:

Santa, I’ve got good news for you. Once again, you’ve aced your pilot exam so here is your certificate… Your eyes are in good shape…20/20. Your health is good. Your sugar levels are a little bit high but you are clear to go. So that’s the good news!

Santa:

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Minister Garneau:

Let me tell you one thing before you leave… just a reminder: don’t use your cell phone and don’t do any texting while driving your sleigh through the skies!

Santa:

Ho! Ho! Ho!

(Minister Garneau looks straight at the camera)

Minister Garneau:

So Santa and his reindeer are cleared to go so stay out of their way. Be safe this Christmas and happy holidays!
