Former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee joined Megyn Kelly on Fox News Monday night and compared Donald Trump’s fearlessness and outspokenness to Captain Quint on “Jaws.”
Huckabee said that despite the Republican candidate being vulgar and possibly a “drunk,” it’s okay because “he’s the guy who’s gonna save your butt and save your family and so at the end of the day when he kills the shark, you’re happy about it.”
Looks like someone might have forgotten what actually happened in “Jaws,” but thankfully Fox News’ Megyn Kelly was there to remind him.
“I hate to be the one to tell you this, but Captain Quint got eaten by the shark at the end of that movie,” Kelly noted.
And while The Donald was Captain Quint in Huckabee’s analogy, guess who the role of the shark went to?–Hillary Clinton.
“Hillary is the shark,” said Huckabee. “She’s gonna eat your boat, she’s gonna have open borders, immigration out the kazoo.”
“So the choice is do you vote for Captain Quint who’s gonna save your family, or do you vote for the shark?” said the former governor.
Before going on air with Kelly, the former governor attempted to explain his “Jaws” comparison in a Facebook post.
