It has been already 4 months since small and very positive one-year girl started her difficult battle with neuroblastoma-cancer…
Little Katerina took two first stages of chemotherapy at the end of September and in October. And now (29.11.2016) she is again in Hospital on the 3d stage. First 2 chemotherapy decreased tumor by 40%! It is a big progress of our fight with neuroblastoma but it is still not enough to make surgery. This doctor’s conclusion we’ve got few days ago after new scanning of our baby. Thus we have to get two more stages and only then, almost in 2 months, we could make the life-saving surgery.
The cost of Katerina’s treatment is 35000 eur. During October-November with the help of a lot of big heart people we could find already 15000 eur but there is 20.000 eur more to raise to make the surgery possible.
It was started in August 2016 when one-year baby has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma. After a lot of different scanning and analysis Katerina is currently undergoing the intensive chemotherapy at The Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome, Italy.
Despite the terrible disease Katerina is little girl who brings a lot of happiness and sunshine into our family. When there is no pain she is always smiling. Even when she was under exhausting intensive chemotherapy for 4 days she was still lighting up the hospital ward with her little smile.
The doctors are hoping that the chemotherapy will be successful and shrink the tumour which will allow them to do the surgery and remove the tumour. We are asking for your help and support to raise this money for treatment.
The doctors said Katerina has 85 per cent survival chances. We want these 85 per cent to become a reality for our little daughter.
We are hoping one day our little angel will not even remember these days when she had this disease.
